استقبلنا نيافة البطريرك مار كيوركيس الثالث يونان رئيس الكنيسة الشرقية القديمة في العراق والعالم، وتداولنا في الواقع المسيحي وأهمية تشجيع المسيحيين على العودة الطوعية إلى بلادهم للمساهمة في بنائه وإعماره فضلا عن المساهمة في تعزيز الاستقرار وحالة التعافي.جددنا التأكيد على أن المسيحيين شعب أصيل من شعوب الأمة العراقية، ويشكلون إضافة نوعية للمجتمع العراقي ومصدر إثراء له، وشددنا على إدارة التنوع واعتماد المكونات العراقية جسورا للتواصل بين العراق ودول المنطقة والعالم.

This evening, we received His Grace Patriarch Mar Georgis III Younan, Head of the Ancient Church of the East in Iraq and across the world. Our discussions centered on the situation of Christians and the need to encourage their voluntary return to their homeland to contribute to its rebuilding and development, as well as contributing to strengthening stability and advancing the recovery process.We reiterated that Christians are an indigenous and essential part of the Iraqi nation, representing a vital source of enrichment to Iraqi society. We also emphasized the importance of managing diversity and viewing Iraq’s communities as bridges for building stronger ties between Iraq, the region, and the world.
