استقبلنا سماحة الشيخ محمد محقق، الأمين العام لحزب الوحدة الإسلامية الشعبي في أفغانستان، ورحّبنا بسماحته والوفد المرافق له، وباركنا لهم أداءهم لزيارة الأربعين، مبيّنين أن هذه الشعيرة، التي كان إحياؤها في زمن النظام السابق يعرِّض الإنسان للسجن أو التغييب، قد أصبحت اليوم قبلةً ومقصداً لشعوب العالم كافةً من أتباع أهل البيت (عليهم السلام) وغيرهم.وجددنا الشكر والثناء لكل من أسهم في إنجاح زيارة الأربعين، وأشرنا إلى أن العراقيين قدّموا أسمى الأمثلة في الكرم والضيافة، حيث استضافوا أكثر من واحد و عشرين مليون زائر بإمكاناتهم الذاتية وعلى طول الطرق المؤدية إلى كربلاء.وبيّنا أهمية تسهيل دخول الزائرين الأفغان الراغبين في أداء الزيارة، ودعونا إلى حفظ أتباع أهل البيت (عليهم السلام) في هذا البلد الكريم، وضمان أن ينالوا نصيبَهم من حرية التعبير عن الرأي والمعتقد.كما جددنا التأكيد على أن العراق يعيش اليوم حالةَ استقرار غير مسبوقة، بفضل الله سبحانه وتعالى، وهدي المرجعية الدينية العليا، ووقفة أبناء شعبنا العراقي في الدفاع عن بلدهم، وتصميمهم على بنائه وإعماره.Today morning, we received Sheikh Mohammed Mohaqiq, Secretary-General of the Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan, and his accompanying delegation. We extended our welcome to him and offered congratulations on their participation in the Arbaeen pilgrimage, emphasizing that this sacred ritual—once punishable by imprisonment or disappearance under the former regime—has now become a spiritual destination for millions across the world, including followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and others. We we reiterated our thanks and appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, noting that Iraqis set the highest standards of generosity and hospitality by hosting more than twenty-one million pilgrims with their own resources along the paths leading to Karbala.We stressed the importance of easing entry procedures for Afghan pilgrims seeking to perform the pilgrimage and called for protecting the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Afghanistan, ensuring their right to freedom of faith and expression. We further reaffirmed that Iraq today enjoys an unprecedented state of stability—by the grace of Allah Almighty, the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority, the sacrifices of our people in defending their nation, and their unwavering resolve to build and develop it.
