استقبلنا مساعد وزير الخارجية في الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، الأستاذ سعيد خطيب زادة، بحضور سعادة السفير الإيراني في بغداد، الأستاذ محمد كاظم آل صادق، وقد تناول اللقاء العلاقات الثنائية بين العراق والجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، وسبل تعزيزها بما يخدم مصالح البلدين والشعبين الصديقين الجارين، إضافةً إلى تطورات الأوضاع في المنطقة.كما أشدنا بصور التلاحم في الموسم الحسيني، المتمثل في زيارة الأربعين، وما تلاها من ذكرى رحيل رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)، وشهادة الإمام الحسن العسكري (عليه السلام).وأكدنا أهمية الاستقرار في المنطقة، مشيرين إلى أن أي تهديد في أي مكان منها سيعرض أمن دولها واستقرارها للخطر.وتطرقنا إلى طبيعة الواقع العراقي وحالة الاستقرار فيه، وأوضحنا أن الانتخابات المقبلة ضرورية للانتقال إلى مرحلة الاستقرار المستدام، وأنها تمثل تأسيسًا لمرحلة جديدة في العراق.Today’s morning, we recieved Mr. Saeed Khatibzadeh, Assistant Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with the Iranian Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Mohammad Kazem Al Sadiq. Our discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran in a way that serves the shared interests of both neighboring nations and their peoples, as well as reviewing regional developments. We commended the powerful displays of unity witnessed during the Arbaeen pilgrimage, followed by the commemoration of the passing of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him and his family) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Al-Askari (peace be upon him).
