استقبلنا في مكتبنا صباح اليوم وفد الاتحاد الوطني الكردستاني، برئاسة معالي الأستاذ نزار آميدي، ومعالي وزير العدل الأستاذ خالد شواني، حيث تبادلنا وجهات النظر حول تطورات المشهد السياسي في العراق والمنطقة، والعلاقة بين الحكومة الاتحادية وحكومة إقليم كردستان.شددنا على ضرورة تحمّل الجميع لمسؤولياتهم في الحفاظ على الاستقرار المتحقق في العراق، على المستويات السياسية والاجتماعية والأمنية والاقتصادية.كما دعونا إلى الاستعداد للاستحقاق الانتخابي القادم، وأكدنا على أهمية المشاركة الواسعة، الفاعلة، والواعية في جميع الساحات العراقية، موضحين أن هذه الانتخابات تمثّل محطة فارقة بين مرحلة الاستقرار الهش، ومرحلة الاستقرار المستدام.وفي ما يخص العلاقة بين الحكومة الاتحادية وحكومة الإقليم، شددنا على أهمية الالتزام بالدستور والقوانين النافذة، وضرورة تقديم التنازلات من أجل المصلحة العامةThis morning, we received a delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan at our office, led by H.E. Mr. Nizar Amidi and H.E. Minister of Justice Mr. Khalid Shwani. We discussed the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, as well as the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.We emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in safeguarding the stability Iraq has achieved across political, social, security, and economic dimensions.We also highlighted the need to prepare for the upcoming elections, underlining the significance of widespread, active, and informed participation throughout all parts of the country. These elections represent a critical juncture—one that could move Iraq from a period of fragile stability to a phase of lasting stability.With regard to the federal-regional relationship, we reaffirmed the need to uphold the Constitution and existing legal frameworks, and called for mutual compromise in pursuit of the national interest.
