استقبلنا في مكتبنا وكيلة وزارة الخارجية السويسرية، سعادة السفيرة مونيكا شموتز، والسفير السويسري لدى بغداد، سعادة السيد هون، وقد بيّنا أن زيارات الوفود للعراق تمثل دليلًا آخر على تعافي البلاد، إلى جانب مصاديق التعافي الأخرى المتمثلة بحالة الاستقرار غير المسبوقة على المستويات السياسية والاجتماعية والأمنية، فضلًا عن أداء العراق المتوازن في علاقاته الإقليمية والدولية، كما أشرنا إلى أن العراق يمتلك تاريخًا عريقًا وفرصًا واعدة.أوضحنا أيضًا أن العراق مر بمخاضات عسيرة وصولًا إلى المرحلة الحالية، وأكدنا أن الانتخابات القادمة نتمنى أن تكون محطة ننتقل فيها إلى الاستقرار المستدام، لتُسهم في الوصول بالعراق إلى بر الأمان إذا ما حسنت مخرجاتها

.We welcomed at our office the envoy of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ambassador Monika Schmutz Kirgöz, along with the Swiss Ambassador to Baghdad, His Excellency Mr. Daniel Hunn. We highlighted that the visits of foreign delegations to Iraq are yet another indication of the country's recovery, complementing other signs such as the unprecedented political, social, and security stability, as well as Iraq’s balanced approach in managing its regional and international relations. We also emphasized Iraq’s deep-rooted history and its promising potential.Additionally, we illustrated that Iraq has endured significant hardships to reach its current phase, and we expressed our hope that the upcoming elections will serve as a milestone toward lasting stability, helping to guide the country toward a safe and secure future, provided the outcomes be favorable.
