التقينا صباح اليوم وفد اتحاد الأكاديميين والتقنيين العرب برئاسة الدكتور مرتضى النوري، وبيَّنّا أهمية شريحة الأكاديميين في نمو البلدان وتطورها، ودعونا إلى الاستفادة من الخبرات العلمية في رفد مؤسسات الدولة وإيجاد الحلول للمشكلات العالقة في مختلف المجالات.كما أوضحنا طبيعة المشهد السياسي في العراق والمنطقة، حيث أشرنا إلى حالة الاستقرار التي يشهدها العراق على المستويات الأمنية والسياسية والاجتماعية، وحمَّلنا الجميع مسؤولية الحفاظ على هذا الاستقرار وتحويله إلى استقرار دائم، ودعونا النخب إلى الإسهام الفاعل في تحقيق ذلك.ودعونا كذلك إلى الاهتمام بالبحث العلمي، وضرورة أن تكون البحوث العلمية منسجمة مع تطلعات الشعوب واحتياجاتها، مع التأكيد على أهمية التركيز على العلوم الحديثة، كـالذكاء الاصطناعي، والأتمتة، وما شابهها من علوم تُشكّل عصب الحياة في المرحلة المقبلة .This morning, we met with the delegation from the Union of Arab Academics and Technicians, led by Dr. Murtadha Al-Nouri, and underscored the crucial role that academics play in the advancement and development of nations. We urged scientific expertise to strengthen state institutions and address unresolved challenges across various sectors.We also discussed the current political landscape in Iraq and the broader region, noting the prevailing stability Iraq enjoys on security, political, and social fronts. We emphasized that maintaining and transforming this stability into a lasting one is a shared responsibility, and urged the intellectual elite to take an active part in this process.Additionally, we stressed the importance of promoting scientific research and ensuring that academic studies reflect the real needs and aspirations of society. We also highlighted the need to focus on modern sciences, such as artificial intelligence, automation, and related fields, that will form the backbone of life in the years ahead.
