التقينا  وفدًا إعلاميًا من جمهورية مصر العربية، ضم عددًا من كتاب الرأي والإعلاميين، حيث ناقشنا معهم الهمّ العربي المشترك، والعلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، فضلًا عن مستقبل الإعلام في ظل التطورات والمتغيرات والوسائل الحديثة.أكدنا أن العراق يعيش حالة استقرار غير مسبوقة على المستويات السياسية والاجتماعية والأمنية والاقتصادية، إذ تشهد محافظاته حملة إعمارٍ واسعة حولته إلى ورشة عمل كبرى، كما بيّنا أن الإرهاب كان تحديًا واجهه العراق، وتأكد حاجة العراقيين إلى بعضهم البعض، وأن قوتهم تكمن في وحدتهم وتماسكهم. أشرنا أيضًا إلى طبيعة الانتخابات القادمة، وقلنا إنها فاصلة بين حالة اللاستقرار والاستقرار المستدام، وتشبه إلى حدٍّ كبير انتخابات عام 2005، التي أسست للنظام السياسي الحالي. بيّنا كذلك أهمية الوفود العربية التي تزور العراق، حيث تؤدي دورًا مهمًّا في نقل الصورة الحقيقية عن العراق، وعن حالة الإعمار والتعافي، وأكدنا أن عقد القمة العربية في بغداد أسهم في توضيح صورة العراق وإمكاناته. شددنا على ضرورة مواكبة الإعلام العربي للتطورات التكنولوجية الحديثة، كما أشرنا إلى أهمية التركيز على القضية الفلسطينية وإبراز مظلومية هذا الشعب ومأساته.

This morning, we met with a media delegation from the Arab Republic of Egypt, which included several opinion writers and journalists. We discussed shared Arab concerns, bilateral relations between the two countries, and the future of media in light of recent developments and modern tools.We affirmed that Iraq is witnessing an unprecedented period of stability on the political, social, security, and economic fronts. Its provinces are undergoing widespread reconstruction, turning the country into a large-scale workshop. We also noted that terrorism was a major challenge Iraq faced, which highlighted the importance of unity among Iraqis, as their strength lies in their solidarity.Moreover, we noted the nature of the upcoming elections, describing them as a turning point between instability and lasting stability, much like the 2005 elections that laid the groundwork for the current political system.We stressed the importance of Arab delegations visiting Iraq, as they play a key role in conveying the true image of the country and its progress in reconstruction and recovery. We also noted that hosting the Arab Summit in Baghdad helped to present a clearer picture of Iraq and its capabilities.Finally, we emphasized the need for Arab media to keep pace with modern technological developments and highlighted the importance of focusing on the Palestinian cause and shedding light on the suffering of its people.
