بقلوب يعتصرها الألم والأسى، نستذكر مجزرة سبايكر، كواحدة من أبشع الجرائم التي شهدها وطننا الجريح، حيث راح ضحيتها أكثر من 1700 شاب من أبناء العراق الأبرياء، الذين اغتالتهم يد الإرهاب الغادر في مشهد لا يُمحى من الذاكرة، وبدمٍ بارد يخلو من كل معاني الإنسانية والرحمة.إن ذكرى هذه الجريمة البشعة لا تزيدنا إلا تمسكًا بضرورة تحقيق العدالة، والمطالبة المستمرة بمحاسبة كل من تورّط فيها أو ساندها بأي شكل من الأشكال، والعمل على ألا تتكرر مثل هذه المآسي في ربوع عراقنا العزيز.وفيما نعبّر عن تضامننا الكامل مع عوائل الشهداء، نؤكد أن هذه الدماء الزكية ستظل منارة تنير درب الحرية والكرامة، ودافعًا دائمًا لمواصلة بناء العراق الجديد وترسيخ استقراره.كما نؤكد، في هذه المناسبة، دعوتنا لجميع العراقيين — أفرادًا ومؤسسات — إلى نبذ كل أشكال الإرهاب والعنف والكراهية، وتعزيز ثقافة التعايش والسلم الأهلي، والإيمان بوحدة الوطن وتنوع مكوّناته كركيزة أساسية لبناء مستقبل آمن ومزدهر.رحم الله شهداء سبايكر، وكل شهداء العراق، وأسكنهم فسيح جناته.
With hearts heavy with grief and sorrow, we solemnly recall the Speicher massacre—one of the most horrific crimes ever committed against our wounded homeland. More than 1,700 innocent young Iraqis were brutally executed by the treacherous hand of terrorism in a scene forever seared into our national memory, carried out in cold blood and devoid of the slightest sense of humanity or compassion.This painful anniversary only strengthens our commitment to justice and reinforces our demand for accountability for everyone who took part in, supported, or enabled this atrocity in any form. It is a stark reminder of the urgent need to prevent such tragedies from ever happening again in our dear Iraq.As we stand in full solidarity with the families of the martyrs, we reaffirm that their noble blood will continue to illuminate the path toward freedom and dignity, and remain a driving force behind our efforts to rebuild Iraq and uphold its stability.On this occasion, we also renew our call to all Iraqis—both individuals and institutions—to reject all forms of terrorism, violence, and hatred, and to nurture a culture of coexistence and civil peace. A firm belief in the unity of our homeland and the strength of its diversity must remain a fundamental pillar in building a secure and thriving future.May Allah bestow His mercy upon the martyrs of Speicher and all the martyrs of Iraq, and grant them everlasting peace in His boundless paradise.
