استقبل سماحة السيد الحكيم رئيس تحالف قوى الدولة الوطنية سعادة السفير الألماني لدى بغداد السيد دانيال كريبر، وبحث معه العلاقات الثنائية بين بغداد وبرلين وأهمية تعزيزها بما يخدم مصالح البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
ودعا سماحته إلى استثمار زيارة دولة رئيس الوزراء الأخيرة إلى ألمانيا والشروع في برامج عمل للاتفاقيات المبرمة، معربًا عن ترحيبه بقدوم الشركات الألمانية لما تمتلكه من تجربة وجودة وسمعة طيبة.
وأشار سماحته إلى تحديات الواقع العراقي، مؤكدًا أن العراق يعاني تحديًا اقتصاديًا كبيرًا نتيجة أحداث المنطقة التي ألقت بتأثيرها على إنتاج وتصدير النفط الذي يمثل عصب الموازنة العراقية، ومشددًا على ضرورة أخذ العبر والدروس من الأزمة الحالية والعمل على تنويع الاقتصاد ومنافذ تصدير النفط إلى الأسواق العالمية.
وجدد السيد الحكيم دعوته إلى حل مشكلة السلاح خارج الدولة عبر الحوار والتفاهم وفق الآليات والتوقيتات العراقية، مبينًا أن حل مشكلة السلاح خارج الدولة مطلب عراقي وحقيقة دستورية ومصلحة وطنية، مثمّنًا في الوقت نفسه جهود جميع الدول التي أسهمت في استقرار العراق أمنيًا وسياسيًا واجتماعيًا.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received His Excellency the German Ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Daniel Krebber, and discussed with him the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Berlin and the importance of strengthening them in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries and the two friendly peoples. H.E. called for capitalizing on the Prime Minister's recent visit to Germany and proceeding with work programs for the agreements concluded, expressing his welcome for the arrival of German companies given their experience, quality, and good reputation.
H.E. pointed to the challenges of the Iraqi reality, affirming that Iraq is facing a major economic challenge as a result of regional events that have impacted oil production and export, which represent the backbone of the Iraqi budget, and stressing the necessity of drawing lessons from the current crisis and working to diversify the economy and the outlets for oil exports to global markets.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem renewed his call to resolve the issue of weapons outside state control through dialogue and understanding, in line with Iraqi mechanisms and timelines, noting that resolving the issue of weapons outside state control is an Iraqi demand, a constitutional reality, and a national interest, while commending the efforts of all countries that have contributed to Iraq's security, political, and social stability.
