وكانت تطورات المشهد السياسي في العراق والمنطقة حاضرة في اللقاء، حيث ناقش الطرفان ملف استكمال الكابينة الحكومية، وأكد سماحة السيد الحكيم ضرورة المضي في إكمال الكابينة الوزارية، ودعم حكومة الأستاذ علي الزيدي في مهامها الخدمية والإصلاحية ومكافحة الفساد.
وشدد سماحته على وحدة الإطار التنسيقي، وضرورة إقرار القوانين التي تمسّ حاجة المواطن في ظل الظرف الاقتصادي الراهن.

Developments in the political landscape in Iraq and the region featured in the meeting, as the two sides discussed the file of completing the government cabinet. H.E. affirmed the necessity of proceeding with the completion of the ministerial cabinet, and of supporting the government of Mr. Ali Al-Zaidi in its service, reform, and anti-corruption tasks.
H.E. stressed the unity of the Coordination Framework, and the necessity of passing laws that address citizens' needs amid the current economic circumstances.
