سماحة السيد الحكيم يستقبل السفير البريطاني ويدعو لاعتماد الحوار لحل الإشكالات في المنطقة

استقبل سماحة السيد الحكيم، رئيس تحالف قوى الدولة الوطنية، سعادة سفير بريطانيا لدى العراق السيد عرفان صديق، وبحث معه العلاقات الثنائية بين بغداد ولندن.
وجدد سماحته دعمه للمسار القضائي والحكومي في مكافحة الفساد، داعيًا إلى استهداف الملفات الكبيرة لاستعادة ثقة المواطن بالعملية السياسية وإجراءات الدولة، بما يحفظ المال العام.
وعن أحداث المنطقة، دعا سماحته إلى استعادة الاستقرار فيها، محذرًا من انزلاقها إلى مديات أوسع، وحاثًّا الدول الكبرى ودول المنطقة على أخذ المبادرة لوقف إطلاق النار واعتماد الحوار لحل الإشكالات العالقة.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received His Excellency Irfan Siddiq, Ambassador of Britain to Iraq, and discussed with him bilateral relations between Baghdad and London and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the interests of all parties and preserves the country's sovereignty. The two sides also addressed regional developments and ways to restore stability.
H.E. renewed his support for the judicial and governmental course in combating corruption, calling for targeting major cases to restore citizens' trust in the political process and state procedures, in a manner that safeguards public funds.
On regional developments, H.E. called for restoring stability to the region, warning against its slide into wider dimensions, and urging major powers and regional states to take the initiative to halt the fighting and adopt dialogue to resolve outstanding issue.
