استقبل سماحة السيد الحكيم، رئيس تحالف قوى الدولة الوطنية، في مكتبه ببغداد سفير تركيا لدى بغداد سعادة السيد أنيل بورا إينان، وبحث معه العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين وسبل تفعيل الاتفاقات المشتركة التي تخدم مصالح الشعبين الصديقين الجارين.
وأكّد سماحته أهمية تركيا في المنظومة الإقليمية والإسلامية، داعيًا إلى خفض التصعيد في المنطقة واستعادة الهدوء والاستقرار، لتتمكّن دول المنطقة وشعوبها من التمتّع بخيراتها.
وأكّد سماحته مضيَّ الدولة العراقية في معالجة مشكلة السلاح خارج إطار الدولة، مبيّنًا أن إنهاء مهام التحالف الدولي دليلٌ على تعافي العراق، وأنه لا بدّ أن تشمل معالجة السلاح خارج إطار الدولة جميعَ أنواع السلاح ممّن ينطبق عليه الوصف.
وأكّد السيد الحكيم أهمية طريق التنمية، مشدّدًا على استثمار المشتركات وصناعة الفرص التي تعزّز الشراكة بين البلدين وتعمّق المصالح الاقتصادية بينهما.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received, at his office in Baghdad, Turkey's Ambassador to Baghdad, His Excellency Mr. Anil Bora Inan, and discussed with him bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to activate the joint agreements that serve the interests of the two friendly neighboring peoples.
H.E. affirmed Turkey's importance within the regional and Islamic framework, calling for de-escalation in the region and the restoration of calm and stability, so that the countries and peoples of the region can enjoy the region's bounties.
H.E. emphasized that the Iraqi state is moving ahead in addressing the issue of weapons outside the framework of the state, pointing out that the end of the International Coalition's mission is evidence of Iraq's recovery, and that addressing weapons outside the framework of the state must cover all types of weapons held by anyone to whom that description applies.
H.E. affirmed the importance of the Development Road, stressing the need to leverage common ground and create opportunities that strengthen the partnership between the two countries and deepen the economic interests between them.
