سماحة السيد الحكيم يستقبل رئيس المجلس الإسلامي الشيعي الأعلى في لبنان

استقبل سماحة السيد الحكيم، رئيس تحالف قوى الدولة الوطنية، في مكتبه ببغداد رئيس المجلس الإسلامي الشيعي الأعلى سماحة الشيخ علي الخطيب، وتداول معه واقع الأحداث في المنطقة، خاصة في لبنان، مؤكداً دعم العراق، حكومةً وشعباً، للبنان في إعادة الإعمار واستعادة الحياة في جنوبه الصامد.
وأكد سماحته أن العراق يمر بضائقة مالية نتيجة أحداث المنطقة التي ألقت بظلالها الثقيلة على دول المنطقة، ومنها العراق، مشدداً على اعتماد الحوار والتفاهم لحل الإشكالات العالقة، وداعياً إلى رعاية النازحين وتخفيف أعباء النزوح في لبنان، خاصة مع قرب دخول فصل الشتاء وقسوته في تلك المناطق، مبيّناً أهمية التماسك المجتمعي في لبنان لمواجهة الأزمات.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received the Head of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, at his office in Baghdad. The two sides discussed the situation in the region, particularly in Lebanon, with H.E. affirming Iraq's support, both government and people, for Lebanon in reconstruction and in restoring life to its steadfast south.
H.E. affirmed that Iraq is going through financial hardship as a result of the events in the region, which have cast their heavy shadow over regional countries, including Iraq, stressing the importance of dialogue and understanding in resolving outstanding issues, and calling for the care of displaced persons and the easing of the burdens of displacement in Lebanon, especially with winter approaching and its harshness in those areas, while highlighting the importance of social cohesion in Lebanon in facing crises.
