التقى سماحة السيد الحكيم، رئيس تحالف قوى الدولة الوطنية، في مكتبه مساء اليوم، رئيسَ تحالف عزم الأستاذ مثنى السامرائي، وتناول اللقاء جملةً من الملفات السياسية والاقتصادية الراهنة.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث مستجدات المشهد السياسي وملف استكمال الكابينة الوزارية، وتمكين الحكومة من أداء مهامها الدستورية وتحقيق تطلعات المواطنين. ودعا سماحته الكتلَ السياسية إلى مواصلة الحوارات البينية وتعزيزها بما يُسهم في تحقيق هذه الغايات.
كما جدّد سماحته دعمه لحكومة الأستاذ علي الزيدي في مسيرة مكافحة الفساد وإجراء الإصلاحات، مشدداً على ضرورة استثمار هذه المرحلة للذهاب نحو معالجات حقيقية وجذرية للأزمات والمشكلات المتراكمة، ومنبّهاً إلى أهمية إنجاز التشريعات، لا سيما تلك التي تمسّ حاجة المواطن وتُرسّخ بناء الدولة ومؤسساتها.
وعلى الصعيد الاقتصادي، دعا سماحته إلى استيعاب الواقع الاقتصادي العراقي بموضوعية، مؤكداً أهمية الوفاء بالالتزامات لا سيما الحاكمة منها، ومشيراً إلى أن المخرج الحقيقي يكمن في تنويع مصادر الاقتصاد الوطني، وتعدد منافذ تصدير النفط الخام، واستقطاب الاستثمارات، وتحريك القطاعات الإنتاجية لتكون رافداً فاعلاً للتنمية.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met this evening at his office with the Head of Azm Alliance, Mr. Muthanna Al-Samarrai. The meeting addressed several current political and economic files.
Discussions covered the latest developments in the political landscape, the completion of the ministerial cabinet, and the empowerment of the government to fulfil its constitutional duties and meet the aspirations of citizens. H.E. called on political blocs to continue and strengthen inter-bloc dialogues in a manner that contributes to achieving these goals.
H.E. also renewed his support for the government of Mr. Ali Al-Zaidi in its pursuit of anti-corruption efforts and reforms, stressing the necessity of seizing this phase as an opportunity to pursue genuine and fundamental solutions to accumulated crises and problems. H.E. also underscored the importance of advancing legislation — particularly laws that directly address citizens’ needs and consolidate the building of the state and its institutions.
On the economic front, H.E. called for an objective understanding of Iraq’s economic reality, affirming the importance of honouring commitments — especially binding ones — and noting that the real way forward lies in diversifying national revenue sources, multiplying crude oil export outlets, attracting investment, and activating productive sectors to serve as an effective driver of development.
