استقبل سماحة السيد الحكيم، رئيس تحالف قوى الدولة الوطنية، بمكتبه في بغداد وفد كتلة النهج الوطني، حيث بحث الطرفان تطورات المشهد السياسي في العراق والمنطقة.
وشدد سماحته على أهمية تجاوز الأزمات بمزيد من اللحمة الوطنية والتماسك الداخلي، عادّاً الأزمة الاقتصادية على رأس الأزمات، لذلك لا بد أن تكون معالجتها على رأس الأولويات.
ودعا السيد الحكيم إلى إدامة حملة مكافحة الفساد والتركيز على الملفات الكبيرة، والعمل على استعادة المال العام، مشدداً على ضرورة تجفيف منابع الفساد واعتماد الحوكمة والأتمتة في التعاملات، فيما شدد على اعتماد الحوار والتفاهم لاستكمال مشروع حصر السلاح بيد الدولة، مع أهمية تخليد قصص ومآثر المضحين في مواجهة الإرهاب، مؤكداً أن يكون المشروع عراقياً من حيث التوقيت والآليات المعتمدة لذلك.
كما دعا سماحته إلى التمسك بوحدة الإطار التنسيقي، مبيناً أن الإطار قدّم نموذجاً في الأداء السياسي وأسهم في تشكيل الحكومة وتجاوز الأزمات، مشدداً على حفظ الإنجازات التي تحققت في الملفين الأمني والاجتماعي والسياسي، ورافضاً الأصوات التي تريد إعادة العراق إلى المربع الأول عبر نشر الخطاب الطائفي والترويج له، واستهداف رموز المكونات العراقية.
من جهتهم، أشاد وفد كتلة النهج الوطني بالجهود التي بُذلت في حفظ الاستقرار السياسي، مستذكرين سيرة عزيز العراق (قدس سره) وجهوده في حفظ حقوق المكون الأكبر و سائر المكونات العراقية، وإصراره حين تشكيل الائتلاف العراقي الموحد على تمثيل الجميع.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received a delegation from the National Approach Bloc at his office in Baghdad, where the two sides discussed developments in the political landscape in Iraq and the region. H.E. stressed the importance of overcoming crises through greater national unity and internal cohesion, considering the economic crisis to be foremost among these crises, and thus its resolution must be at the top of the priorities list.
H.E. called for sustaining the anti-corruption campaign and focusing on major files, working to recover public funds, and stressed the need to eliminate the sources of corruption and adopt governance and automation in transactions. H.E. also stressed the importance of adopting dialogue and understanding to complete the process of consolidating weapons under state authority, along with the importance of immortalizing the stories and achievements of those who sacrificed in confronting terrorism, affirming that the process should be Iraqi in terms of its timing and the mechanisms adopted for it.
H.E. also called for upholding the unity of the Coordination Framework, noting that the Framework has provided a model of political performance and contributed to forming the government and overcoming crises, stressing the importance of preserving the achievements made in the security, social, and political files, and rejecting the voices seeking to return Iraq to square one through spreading and promoting sectarian rhetoric and targeting the symbols of Iraq's various components.
For their part, the delegation of the National Approach Bloc commended the efforts made in preserving political stability, recalling the legacy of Aziz Al-Iraq (may his secret be sanctified) and his efforts in preserving the rights of the largest component and the rest of Iraq's components, as well as his insistence, during the formation of the United Iraqi Alliance, on ensuring representation for all.
