While chairing the periodic meeting of the Advisory Council of Al-Hikma National Movement, His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance and Leader of Al-Hikma National Movement, praised the efforts of the movement’s members in commemorating the Ashura nights of the sacred month of Muharram, marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), noting that this reflects the exaltation of Allah the Almighty’s sacred rites.
H.E. reaffirmed his support for government efforts to consolidate weapons under state authority, commending all efforts that have contributed to achieving this goal, and affirming that the state’s monopoly on arms is a firmly established constitutional and legal reality that admits no compromise.
H.E. also reaffirmed his support for the government’s reform course in combating corruption and recovering public funds, stressing the importance of focusing on major cases rather than slipping into marginal issues that drain effort and allow major corrupt figures to escape accountability.
H.E. called for early preparation for the upcoming local elections, stressing the need for Al-Hikma National Movement to add a new success story to its record, and calling for openness to the public and the provision of genuine service within available capabilities.
