استقبل سماحة السيد الحكيم، رئيس تحالف قوى الدولة الوطنية، الشيخ أحمد أبو ريشة، رئيس مؤتمر صحوة العراق، وبحث معه مستجدات الوضع السياسي في البلاد والمنطقة، فضلاً عن التحديات المحدقة بالعراق في الفترة الراهنة.
وشدّد السيد الحكيم على ضرورة تضافر جهود الجميع لتجاوز التحديات، داعياً إلى نبذ الخطاب الطائفي وتغليب المصلحة العامة على المصالح الخاصة.
وبيّن السيد الحكيم أن التحدي الاقتصادي يأتي على رأس التحديات، داعياً إلى استثمار الفرصة في تنويع الاقتصاد وتنويع منافذ تصدير النفط، مبيّناً أن العراق بلدٌ يمتلك الكثير من الإمكانات، لكنه يعيش حالة عُسر مالي بسبب أحداث المنطقة وتراجع الصادرات، مشددا على ضرورة تفهّم طبيعة الظرف القاهر حالياً.
His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, received Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha, Head of Iraq’s Sahwa Conference, and discussed with him the latest developments in the political situation in the country and the region, as well as the challenges currently confronting Iraq.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem stressed the necessity of combining everyone's efforts to overcome these challenges, calling for the rejection of sectarian discourse and the prioritization of public interest over private interests.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem illustrated that the economic challenge tops the list of challenges facing the country, calling for capitalizing on the opportunity to diversify the economy and diversify oil export outlets. H.E. indicated that Iraq is a country possessing considerable potential, yet is experiencing a state of financial hardship due to regional events and declining exports, stressing the need to understand the nature of the current force majeure circumstances.
