استذكرنا خلال لقائنا رئيس مؤتمر صحوة العراق، الشيخ أحمد أبو ريشة، العلاقة التاريخية التي جمعتنا بشيوخ ووجهاء محافظة الأنبار، والمواقف الخالدة في مواجهة الإرهاب وتعزيز الوحدة الوطنية.كما تحدّثنا عن حالة الاستقرار الراهنة، التي دفع العراقيون أثماناً باهظة لتحقيقها، وضرورة الحفاظ عليها وتعزيزها، مؤكدين أن المشاركة الواسعة والفاعلة والواعية في الانتخابات القادمة تمثّل مدخلاً مهماً للوصول إلى الاستقرار المستدام.

During our meeting with Sheikh Ahmed Abu Risha, Head of the Iraq Sahwa (Awakening) Convention, we reflected on the longstanding ties with the tribal Sheikhs and Dignitaries of Al-Anbar, and their historic role in confronting terrorism and reinforcing national unity. Moreover, we spoke about the stability Iraq is experiencing today, hard-won through great sacrifice, emphasizing the need to safeguard and strengthen it. We reaffirmed that broad, active, and informed participation in the upcoming elections will be essential for long lasting stability.
