خلال لقائنا بعددٍ من كُتّاب الرأي والباحثين والمحللين في مركز العراق للدراسات، تداولنا الواقعين المحلي والإقليمي، إضافة إلى الاستحقاقات القادمة، وشددنا على ضرورة الحفاظ على المكتسبات المتحققة والعمل على تعزيزها وتكريسها.وأكدنا أن الاستقرار الحالي الذي تشهده البلاد انعكس بشكلٍ واضح، إذ تحوّل العراق إلى ورشة عمل كبيرة في بغداد وسائر المحافظات. كما بيّنا طبيعة الاستحقاقات القادمة، وأكدنا ضرورة الدعوة والحث على المشاركة الواسعة و الواعية والفاعلة في الانتخابات المقبلة، لما لها من أهمية كبرى في ترسيخ الاستقرار المستدام.وأوضحنا كذلك طبيعة التنافس الانتخابي المرتقب، ودعونا إلى التباني على تحقيق الأمن الانتخابي وتكافؤ الفرص، مشيرين إلى أن على المراكز البحثية أن تأخذ دورها في التوعية بأهمية المشاركة في الانتخابات، وتسليط الضوء على أثرها في مستقبل البلاد.إقليميًا، أكدنا أهمية استمرار الحوار الإيراني الأميركي، وبيّنا أن تجنّب التصعيد يصبّ في مصلحة المنطقة وشعوبها، كما جدّدنا إدانتنا للاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على شعب غزة، وعبّرنا عن استغرابنا من صمت المجتمع الدولي إزاء المجازر اليومية التي تُرتكب بحق أبناء القطاع.In our meeting with several opinion writers, researchers, and analysts at the Iraq Center for Studies, we engaged in discussions on both local and regional developments, as well as the upcoming national milestones. We underscored the importance of safeguarding the progress achieved so far, while working to further strengthen and solidify these gains.We illustrated that the country’s current state of stability is clearly evident, with Iraq now transformed into a vast hub of activity and development, not only in Baghdad but across all provinces.We also addressed the nature of the upcoming electoral milestones, emphasizing the critical need to promote broad, informed, and meaningful participation in the upcoming elections, given their essential role in reinforcing long-term stability.Additionally, we elaborated on the expected dynamics of the electoral competition and called for a collective commitment to ensuring electoral security and fair competition. We stressed that research centers must actively contribute by raising public awareness about the importance of election participation and by shedding light on how the results will shape the country’s future.On the regional front, we reaffirmed the importance of maintaining the Iranian-American dialogue, noting that avoiding escalation is in the best interest of the region and its people. We also renewed our condemnation of the Israeli attacks on the people of Gaza and voiced our deep concern over the international community’s silence in the face of the daily massacres taking place against the residents of the strip.
