خلال لقائنا  جمعاً من شيوخ ووجهاء مناطق صدر اليوسفية، قلنا إن هذه المنطقة عاشت ظروفاً أمنية غير مستقرة، واجه أبناؤها خلالها الإرهاب وقدّموا تضحيات كبيرة في هذا الاتجاه.أكدنا أن منهج الاعتدال والوسطية، الذي عانى في وقتٍ سابق من التطويق والتخوين، أصبح اليوم منهجاً يتحدث به أغلب القادة السياسيين.وأشرنا إلى أن العراق مرّ بظروفٍ غاية في الصعوبة، تمثلت في التوتر الأمني والسياسي وتبادل الرسائل عبر وسائل الإعلام بين القادة السياسيين، إلا أن العراق، وبهدي المرجعية الدينية العليا وإرادة أبناء شعبنا، تمكن من تجاوز كل هذه التحديات. وأوضحنا أن العراق يعيش اليوم حالة استقرار أمني وسياسي واجتماعي أفضت إلى تقديم الخدمات، لكنه في الوقت نفسه ما زال يعيش وسط منطقة مضطربة، وقد أحسن التفاعل مع أحداثها وركّز على الدعم السياسي والإعلامي والإغاثي للشعوب العربية والإسلامية.لفتنا إلى أن الانتخابات القادمة انتخابات مصيرية، تحمل مستوى عالياً من الشبه مع انتخابات عام 2005 التي أسست للديمقراطية، فيما ستؤسس هذه الانتخابات إلى الاستقرار المستدام، وجددنا الدعوة إلى المشاركة الواسعة والفاعلة و الواعية في الانتخابات، والتصويت للشخص الصالح في القائمة الصالحة، محذّرين من تأثير المال في تحديد خيارات الناخبين.This evening, we met with tribal sheikhs and dignitaries from Sadr Al-Yusufiyah, and recalled how the area endured years of instability, during which its people confronted terrorism and made great sacrifices. We emphasized that the path of moderation and balance—once marginalized and discredited—has now become the approach embraced by most political leaders. We noted that Iraq went through very difficult times marked by political and security unrest and public disputes among leaders through the media. Yet, with the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority and the determination of our people, the nation overcame those challenges. We explained that Iraq today enjoys security, political, and social stability that has allowed for improved services, even as it remains surrounded by regional turmoil. Still, Iraq has responded with wisdom, focusing on political, media, and humanitarian support for Arab and Islamic nations. We stressed that the upcoming elections are of historic importance, carrying a strong resemblance to the 2005 elections that established democracy, while these elections will lay the foundation for lasting stability. We once again urged broad, active, and informed participation, calling on voters to support the right candidate within the right list, and warning against the impact of money in shaping electoral choices.
