مستجدات الشأن السياسي، وواقع المسيحيين في العراق، والاستحقاقات القادمة، كانت من بين الملفات الحاضرة في لقائنا مع السيد عمانؤيل خوشابا، الأمين العام للحزب الوطني الآشوري، حيث أكدنا مجددًا على أهمية المسيحيين في العراق، باعتبارهم مكونًا أصيلًا وإضافة نوعية للمجتمع العراقي، كما جددنا دعوتنا للمهاجرين منهم إلى العودة الطوعية إلى بلدهم والمساهمة في بنائه.  بيّنّا أهمية الانتخابات القادمة وضرورة الاستعداد لها، إذ تمثل حدًا فاصلًا لتحقيق الاستقرار المستدام، كما دعونا الجميع إلى التنافس على أساس البرامج.

Political developments, the status of Christians in Iraq, and upcoming national entitlements, were topic of discussion with Mr. Emmanuel Khoshaba, Secretary-General of the Assyrian Patriotic Party. We reiterated our belief in the vital role of the Christian community as an essential and enriching part of Iraqi society. We also renewed our call for emigrants from the community to consider voluntary return and active participation in rebuilding their homeland.We emphasized the significance of the upcoming elections and the need for thorough preparation, as they mark a pivotal step toward lasting stability. We further urged all participants to engage in the electoral process based on clear and constructive platforms.
