في لقائنا مع عددٍ من شيوخ ووجهاء قبيلة جحيش، جددنا التعازي بذكرى أربعينية الإمام الحسين (عليه السلام) وذكرى وفاة الرسول الأعظم محمد (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)، وبيّنا أن الانتخابات القادمة تأتي في ظل ظروف التوتر الذي تشهده المنطقة، فيما تفاعل العراق مع أحداثها دون الانغماس فيها، عبر الدعم السياسي والإعلامي والاجتماعي والإغاثي.جددنا التأكيد على أن الانتخابات القادمة ستؤسس لمرحلة جديدة ولحالة الاستقرار المستدام المنشود.كما أوضحنا أن العراق تجاوز تحدياتٍ كبيرةً سياسية وأمنية واجتماعية، وتخطّى حالة التدافع السياسي، ليعيش اليوم حالة استقرار ومستوى مقبولاً من تقديم الخدمات.دعونا إلى استثمارٍ أمثل للمياه لمواكبة حالة الشح المائي، واعتماد حلولٍ جذرية لمعالجة هذه المشكلة، في الوقت الذي أشدنا فيه بحالة الاكتفاء الذاتي من محصول الحنطة، واعتبرناها مقدمةً مهمةً لتحقيق الأمن الغذائي.أشرنا إلى إقبال الجمهور على منهج الاعتدال والوسطية، وضرورة التحرك نحو المساحة الرمادية في الانتخابات، مع أهمية انتخاب الكفوء الصالح في القائمة الصالحة، كما حذرنا من استغلال منصب عضوية مجلس النواب في قضايا الابتزاز والفساد، ودعونا إلى التوقف عند الأموال التي تُنفق في الحملات الانتخابية بالمقارنة مع ما يحصل عليه النائب من رواتب وامتيازات بشكل رسمي.In our meeting with several sheikhs and dignitaries from the Juhaish tribe, we offered renewed condolences on the occasion of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and the anniversary of the passing of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him and his family). We noted that the upcoming elections come at a time of regional tension, while Iraq has managed to engage with surrounding events without being drawn into them, instead focusing its role on political, media, social, and humanitarian support. We reaffirmed that these elections will mark the beginning of a new stage and help establish the sustainable stability we seek. Moreover, we illustrated that Iraq has overcome significant political, security, and social challenges, moving beyond a phase of political strife to a state of stability and improved service delivery. We called for the efficient use of water resources to address scarcity, along with the adoption of lasting solutions, while commending Iraq’s achievement of wheat self-sufficiency as an important milestone toward food security. We highlighted the growing public embrace of moderation and centrism, stressing the need to move toward the middle ground in the elections by choosing capable and upright candidates within sound electoral lists. We also warned against the misuse of parliamentary seats for blackmail or corruption, and urged voters to consider the disproportion between the vast sums spent on campaigns and the official salaries and benefits received by members of parliament.
