التقينا صباح اليوم وفد معهد جنيف للسياسات الأمنية، برئاسة السيد بول دزيا تكويك، رئيس ملف الوساطة ودعم السلام. حيث ذكَّرنا بالتحديات والظروف الصعبة التي مرَّ بها العراق خلال العقدين الماضيين، ومواجهته لها بوحدة وصمود وتضحيات أبنائه من المكونات كافة.وأكَّدنا أن العراق يشهد حالةً من الاستقرار غير المسبوق على الصُعُد الأمنية والسياسية والاجتماعية، فضلًا عن امتلاكه لعلاقاتٍ طيبةٍ مع البيئة الإقليمية والدولية، كما أن جميع المحافظات العراقية تشهد ورشَ عملٍ كبرى وحالةَ إعمارٍ في شتَّى المجالات.وبيَّنَّا أن التنوع الاجتماعي في العراق يجعله قوةً تمكِّنه من مدِّ الجسور مع أمم وشعوب العالم، وأشرنا إلى أهمية استخلاص الدروس من تجربة العراق الطويلة في التحول من حقبة الدكتاتورية إلى الديمقراطية، كما أكَّدنا أن العراق يعتمد الحيادَ الإيجابي، مما يساعده في لعب دور الوساطة لحل الإشكاليات الإقليمية والدولية، وأوضحنا أن تجسير العلاقة بين الأطراف وتقريب وجهات النظر هو نهجٌ متجذِّرٌ في العراق، وأنه أمام فرصةٍ لتحويل الاستقرار الحالي إلى استقرارٍ مستدامٍ بعد الانتخابات القادمة، ما يُعطي أهميةً كبرى لهذه الانتخابات

.This morning, we met with the delegation from the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, headed by Mr. Paul Dziatkowiec, Head of Mediation and Peace Support. We reflected on the many challenges and hardships Iraq has endured over the past two decades, noting how the country confronted them with unity, resilience, and the collective sacrifices of its diverse components.We stressed that Iraq is currently enjoying an unprecedented phase of stability across the security, political, and social landscapes, complemented by strong and constructive relations at both the regional and international levels. Across all provinces, major projects and reconstruction efforts are actively underway, covering a wide range of sectors.We underscored that Iraq’s social diversity serves as a unique strength, enabling it to build meaningful connections with nations and peoples across the globe. We also pointed to the valuable lessons that can be drawn from Iraq’s long journey transitioning from dictatorship to democracy. Moreover, we reaffirmed that Iraq embraces a stance of positive neutrality, positioning it to play a key role as a mediator in addressing regional and international disputes. We emphasized that bridge-building and fostering dialogue are deeply embedded in Iraq’s political culture, and the country now stands at a pivotal moment — with the chance to transform its current stability into long-term, sustainable stability following the upcoming elections, which adds significant weight to the importance of this electoral milestone.
