نرحب بإعلان حزب العمال الكردستاني في تركيا حلّ نفسه وترك العمل المسلح، في خطوة مهمة تفسح المجال لإيجاد حلول جوهرية لأحد أعقد الملفات التي أثّرت لعقود في كردستان الحبيبة، وأدّت إلى اضطراب في العلاقات بين العراق والجارة تركيا. إن هذه الخطوة المهمة تساهم بشكل كبير في إرساء الاستقرار والسلام في المنطقة، ونأمل أن تمهّد لفتح صفحة جديدة يسودها الازدهار والوئام.

We welcome the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK)'s decision to disband and renounce armed struggle, in a vital step that could lead to real progress on one of the most longstanding and complicated challenges facing our beloved Kurdistan and impacting Iraq’s relations with neighboring Turkey.This bold step holds the potential to significantly enhance regional stability and peace, and we remain hopeful it will usher in a new era of security, cooperation, and  prosperity.
